 SAFE HAVEN REHABILITATION CENTER
REPORT FOR THE 1ST QUARTER (JANUARY – MARCH)
FOOD FOR THE INMATE AT THE POLICE CELLS MINISTRY (STRIKING FORCE - ACCRA)
 8TH FEBRUARY 2012.
Preamble
“I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make it boast in the Lord;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.” (Ps. 34:1-1)
INTRODUCTION
On arrival at the Striking Force Police Cells, we were welcomed by the staff because they were already aware of our coming there for such an occasion. Since it was such a busy place they quickly gave us the permission to where the inmates were being kept, Inspr. Justice P. Owusu Agyei (Operations) then introduces the center to them and our mission there. The founder explain that, it touches the Center’s heart to do this for such people which the world has shun and thinks that they are criminals so they need not to be care of. He said and I quote “if those inmates at every police station will be given much attention, preaching to them and helping them come out of those criminal acts there will be peace in the country and every home.”   The founder also said it is something the Center has plan to do every year in order to support the police. They were so happy upon hearing the news that we are there to give them some food.  Inspr. Justice P. Owusu Agyei (Operations) on their behalf thanked us and the leader among the inmates also thanked us very much. We advised them to comport themselves and also change from their bad character which has placed them at such a tight corner. They thanked us and told us to pray for them so that they will have a change of heart and mind.
ACTIVITY
Rev. Henry Mills the founder of (SHRC) being their father prayed for them and the food items which was sent to them.  Since the inmates cannot be trusted so much ASPr. Mr. Acheampong called their names one after the other and we gave the rice, drink and water to them through the window. Which will be seen in the pictures below. Since taken pictures at the police station is not allowed we were given order to take few pictures. See all pictures below and also in separate folder. We also gave the police their food to the female staff which was also shared among them. We were also taken to their offices and introduced ourselves to them and also took pictures with them. Everything was brought to an end and we thanked them for the nice gesture they gave us from our arrival till our departure.
We thank God for such a wonderful occasion which you and Cornerstone International Ministry supported and made it a successful one.  Safe Haven Rehabilitation Center will always remember you. God richly bless you.
Thank you.
