INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY CORNERSTONE
Many congratulations on this New Year that just starts, that our Lord Jesus Christ save and bless you each day.
Proudly I will tell you the formation and growth of our church in the year 2011.
We begin the year in January with the farewell to two of our great leaders co-pastors, who after a hard work but full of achievements, were to graze each one its own church, and which now are ministers pastors of two beautiful churches, faithful to the Lord. Subsequently we celebrated our 20 years of service to the Lord as a church with a magnificent celebration and an attendance of approximately 600 members.
We have 48 family groups with an attendance of 383 people each week, 93 people who are being consolidated and 118 children; there are 13 ministries who faithfully serve God and the church, and all this work is divided between the 87 leaders in the church, mature leaders who day by day are trying to bring the best of themselves to fulfill the purpose of making disciples. In the year we received 369 new people who have been assigned to a shepherd and that today are being discipled mostly; we did four powerful encounters, where they were restored 167 persons, that today serve the Lord and are blessed people. We baptized 88 persons that are to bless others with your testimony and impact lives. And we will continue by evangelizing, consolidating and discipline each day more people.
In the month of April we had a Congress leaders, mainly focused on the training and/ or leaders formation and teaching, for which was attended by 161 persons whose desire is to make a disciple and we had two guests shepherds from the local and one international.
This year we bought our new headquarters located in the Neighborhood Salomia of Cali, one headquarters much bigger, we have adapted to receive our members, the move was in the month of July. Our projection is to build a beautiful Temple, with much comfort and plenty of space. The average attendance for the groups of the Thursday is 186 people and on Sundays Services from 501 people, who faithfully come to worship our God and to be managed.
We did a 40-day fast in September and October, where there was spiritual freedom, the Lord was glorified, healthy sick, restored lives and made free spiritually prisoners; this was a huge blessing both for the church, and even for the city. The closure of this great fast was a vigil very busy, to which we invite local preachers.
The Dining Room Child continues his work with children with limited resources of the most vulnerable sectors of the city, we offer our readiness, time, resources and God makes everything else. This year we celebrated them the day of the Child in the month of April, complimentary gifts and a nice Party, and in this Christmas God allowed us to share the gospel, to give them gifts and a Christmas dinner. Thanks we give to the Lord for allowing us to continue with this lovely work, we hope to have a proper home for the Children's Dining Room, and extend our coverage.
The ministers of praise have grown much also, today there are several songs created by themselves, with a dream of making your own CD and evangelize the whole world; with their effort they have blessed the lives of several children through a project called Art to Grow: with the help of art achieved change the bad investment of time for these little kids by a skill that will teach them another way of seeing the world. They also offer them The Word of God through the music to one of the most vulnerable neighborhood of our city, they go every Saturday to give those children their time and their talent music teaching the Colombian folklore. This project for the future and with sufficient resources will teach them not only instrumentation, but dance, painting and all the possible arts.
Thanks to your support and prayer, our church continues growing up and continues being blessed.
I am grateful for the privilege of to allow us to work together with you in service to our Lord and desire that God's Powerful Hand follow pouring on their lives, homes, and ministry continuously.
